My Approach
Creating a bespoke artwork is a deeply collaborative journey. I don’t just see a commission as a task to be completed, but as a conversation between your personal story and my creative practice. Whether you have a specific memory you want to capture or simply a love for a particular mood and palette, my goal is to create a piece that feels both authentically 'me' and uniquely yours.
The Commission Process
1. Initial Enquiry
The process starts with your vision. Please complete the Enquiry Form with your preferred dimensions, subject matter, and any specific colour palettes or reference images.

2. Consultation & Quote
Once I’ve reviewed your details, I’ll get in touch to discuss the finer points. Following our chat, I will send over a formal quote and an estimated timeframe for the work.
3. Deposit & Agreement
To book your slot in my studio calendar, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit. At this stage, we’ll both sign a straightforward commission agreement to ensure the delivery dates and specifications are crystal clear.
4. The Creative Process
I’ll begin by creating 1–2 preliminary sketches or colour studies for your feedback. Once you’re happy with the direction, I’ll move on to the final piece. You will receive a mid-way progress update to see how your artwork is developing.
5. Final Approval & Delivery
Once the piece is finished, I will send a high-resolution photograph for your final approval. After the remaining balance is settled, your artwork will be professionally varnished, securely packaged, and dispatched via tracked courier.
